I know you can do a report for different runs, but i want to be able to track my total miles ran.  I also do the bike 2 days a week and the main training page calculates that into my monthly total.  But i would love to have monthly total miles ran and total miles ran period.

I think this website is great and it is my number one tracking site but it is a running site and i would love to have a few more running indicators, including weekly mileage (so we can see the increase in milage ((suggested only 10%))) Let me know what you guys think and if any of this is possible.

    Thank you

I heartily second this one. When I cross train on my bike. I'm don't really care about how many miles I'm going, I'm just using it as a different cardio. I'd love to see my running and cycling miles as different numbers.

Not sure if this is what you guys are looking for, but have you checked out the reporting feature? If you go to My Training, and then click on an option like "month" under My Reports, you get to a place where you can choose the workout type (e.g. Run > Long Run), and then choose the report type (e.g. Duration/Time). This shows me the distance I covered in long runs during a given time period. I don't see that I can choose all running types - seems like it's either all workout types, or specific types of runs.

Those are the specific cases. What is needed is the general. That is, I can get a report of mileage for all activities, cycling AND swimming AND running combined with weekly or monthly totals. Or I can get a report for a very specific activity - recovery runs or long runs with the totals. What I think would be greate would be a report that summarizes the totals for one general type of activity (cycling OR swimming OR running) over time.

Definitely with you on this one!

Just for the sake of keeping track, i put down all the times i walk my dog during the day and thats always calculated into total milage, and in general I end up walking a lot of miles with him, but I could sort of care less about it at the end of the day.

More importantly, I have been starting to do lots of different trypes of runs, and I would love to be able to see my total milage and not have to break it down into what type of run.

     Good call, Timmins02!

Great suggestion. This is something that I too wish was available on the dashboard on the training page.

But I don't want to sound like I'm complaining because I absolutely love this site. It has taken a lot of the place of my own manual tracking.

    Me too.

I cycle and run, at the top of the calendar that summarizes my monthly mileage, It would be perfect to see the totals broken out by type, Run, Cycle, etc. The total miles that display not that adds up my cycling and running is really meaningless.

I also don't have a need for mileage by Type of Run or type of ride. I suppose though that in combination with time could be handy.

I don't think I saw this, so here's an idea...

I track my miles on my running shoes. If you do more than run, you could create some sort of gear and track your total miles.
