We are two students from Markedshøyskolen
(The academy of marketing) in Oslo (Norway). In our
final thesis we are researching on the effect Nike+ might have on the Nike
brand. It would mean a lot for us both, if you could spare five minutes of your
time to take the survey.
If you answer the survey then you will have
a chance of winning Nike running shoes and a Nike+ Sportband. The winner will
be announced when the survey is closed.
I took the survey and I feel that my answers were skewed because my view of Nike has changed. Here's what I wanted to say about my image/loyalty to Nike: I have to say that I'm very disappointed in the change Nike has made in their shoes. Until a week ago, every pair of running shoes I have ever owned have been Nikes (even after testing other brands). I upgraded to the newer version of the shoe model I was currently wearing and although they felt weird as soon as I put them on, I thought I would give them a shot because Nikes have never before failed me. However, after wearing them on a few runs, I did what I've never had to do with any pair of shoes, I had to take them back to the store. I was hoping that it was just a defect in my right shoe, but it wasn't. Nike has added an "air pocket" to all of their performance running shoes and it really bothered my foot and even caused some shin pain. I'm happy with my new brand of shoes; however, I don't like them as much as I've liked my past Nikes. But until Nike removes or makes those "air pockets" less pronounced, I am no longer a loyal Nike fan.
Very strange survey. Not to pick on the developers, but was this written in English or a translation? Or was this a standard marketing questionaire that was cut and pasted for Nike?
No answer will make the results skewed as long as its based on the truth :)
Ashame to hear about nike tho
wbbarry:
No
offence taken, a lot of our questions are taken from two other english
dissertions at Ph.D level. So yes some of them are not developed by us, but it’s
not translated from any other languages or from any Nike questionnaires. The
first two (or one) pages of questions were written by us in english. Do you
remember if it was any special ones or just generally?
