I have tried to load my Garmin 405 data into MapMyRun from both IE and FIrefox with no luck whatsoever.  It always reads the device, and the Garmin Connector has been checked and it's working properly.  Most often when I try to import, it simply shows nothing, sometimes it reads 0% and then sits there with nothing.

     Please help!!

    Thanks!

I have the same problem.  I tried wit IE 7 and FF3.  I also tried w/ my 405 hooked up via the ANT stick and via USB.  Can't get any data read.  It all transfers fine to Garmin connect, but won't read to this site.  I'm using Vista Ultimate.

    Anyone have suggestions?

I am having the same issues with my 405. I have tried several work-arounds with no luck.  Maybe the site admin folks need to update their software to support the 405. Till then, I think we're out of luck. I could be wrong though. Does anybody else have suggestions?

The only way I've found to make this work is to install the Garmin desktop training software and export your workouts from that software into .TCX file. Once you have that file you can find converters on the internet that will change your .TCX file into a .GPX file which is an industry standard XML specification for GPS routes and data. You can then import these files into your profile by creating a new route and importing your file. Roundabout solution to a seemingly silly problem, but until MMF (or maybe it's Garmin C ommunicator's problem, I dont' know) makes some updates, we're out of luck w/ these 405's.

I have an Edge 705 and MapMyRide doesn't import from that either. Frankly this software is a joke and of course there is no contact information for the developers or customer support from whom I'd like my money back.
