location: Sydney, Australia distance: 5.55 mi. | Route Type: Walk created by: description: From Bondi Junction Railway station head East through the Oxford Street Mall, turn right into Hollywood Avenue, left into Waverley Street and keep going through until you reach Waverley Park. There you can climb up the steps on the heritage listed elevated Waverley Reservoir. Head for the south Eastern corner of the Park and East down Birrell Street. Turn right into Murray Street and continue until you reach the top of Bronte Park. Follow the high Northern side of Bronte Park East until you reach the lower section of Bronte Park and Bronte Beach. Follow the coastal walk North to Tamarama Bay, McKenzie's Point, the Boot and Bondi Beach for beautiful ocean and coastal views. After some fish and chips with the seagulls at Bondi Beach head West up Hall Street and O'Brien Street until you reach Old South Head Road. Cross the road and go up the steps to Birriga Road, heading West until you reach the entrance to Bellevue Park. Bellevue Park is at the top of Bellevue Hill and there are fine views North to Sydney Harbour and East to Bondi Beach. Leave the park by Bellevue Park Road and cross Victoria Road. Go down the steps into Cooper Park and keep going down and down into the beautiful suburban rain forest walk through Cooper Park until you reach Suttie Road.
