Description of this Run

From Cape Henlopen High School, runners will proceed to the country road of Gills Neck Road before crossing the drawbridge on Savannah Road. Runners will turn right at DQ and head into Cape State Park on Cape Henlopen Drive. Picking up the bike path at the CHSP entrance, runners will follow the path to the main road just north of the Biden Center where runners will turn left on the main road and follow back up the hill to the bike path. Once on the bike path again runners will follow to the Beach Parking Lot and onto the main road again heading to the point. An out and back to the point and runners are back on the bike path heading back to Lewes. A loop around the Lewes Beach parking lot and runners are back on Savannah Road to Gills Neck to Rodaline Avenue. Past City Hall, runners will make a sharp left at the museum and follow Kings Highway back to the high school finishing on the bus circle.
