Description of this Bike Ride

This is Tarwheel Territory! (Note: map mileage tends to be 10% less than reality) The classic ride from downtown Carrboro to MapleView Ice Cream and down Borland hill. Park in the Carrmill Mall parking lot. You can always pop over to the ice cream place (it's at mile 6.5 on Dairyland Rd) after coming down Borland (or go to the MapleView store in downtown Carrboro. <br> In Carrboro you are a block from 3 bike shops 1. the original Performance store 2. the legendary Clean Machine and 3. Cycling Specifics (for custom bike fits and beautiful upper-end custom bikes) Visit them all but try not to drool.
