Description of this Bike Ride

A great ride. Good shoulder on highway 34 from Greeley to Loveland. Riding through Loveland was more challenging because the highway doesn't have a consistent bike lane. From the beginning of the Big Thompson Canyon (Dam Store) to Drake, the ride is pretty mellow. Between Drake and Estes Park, the climbing is consistent, ending with challenging switch backs before topping out above Estes for an amazing view of Mt. Meeker and Longs Peak. It's worth the effort!
