Keep riding straight out on this road which turns into Victoria Road and then McDermott Drive. You are riding through suburban streets with a good shoulder. You will cross the Wollondilly River at 1.9km and the NSW Police Academy before turning left into Middle Arm Road at 3.20km. Stay on this road all the way to end of the bitumen.

At 8.5km you will cross an old railway line at Norwood road which is the proposed route for the Goulburn to Crookwell Railtrail.

<br>
<br>
<br>
From here you keep winding through relatively flat terrain until you climb up to the Fireshed at the junction of Rhyanna Road at 15.90km. A good place to take a break and enjoy the views back to Goulburn.

Keep riding through undulating countryside with a couple of steep pinches up until you reach the highest point of the route at Peddlars Hill at 20.70km.
<br>
<br>
<br>
From here you have a steep decent for 2.5km into a beautiful valley. Cross over a small bridge and ride on past an old community shed and tennis court at 25km.
<br>
<br>
<br>
1km beyond the tennis court, you reach the junction at Back Arm Road which is the end of the bitumen. If you keep going straight ahead on the dirt you will reach Roslyn and then Crookwell. The road is fine for a good touring bike or mountain bike. If you turn left onto Back Arm Road, this takes you to the Goulburn to Taralga Road.
<br>
If you turn around and return to the Goulburn, it is a good 52km ride.

A relatively long climb out but with a prevailing tailwind home and a lot of downhill the return trip can be fast but relaxing. Not a lot of traffic to worry about.
