Walk Description
Park at Elderberry Park at the bottom of 5th Avenue. There is a playground there. Take the Coastal Trail north to 2nd Avenue and up the stairs to the Downtown Market. It has a street fair atmosphere, with food, entertainment, and trinkets. Walk up 3rd Avenue to the Snow Goose Restaurant and Brewerey. It has great views, but not great food, edible, but not great. If it is too crowded to get a table, walk further up 3rd Avenue to the Courthouse parking garage. The stairways are not locked, and you can get to the top of the garage for a little better view. In front of the Courthouse on 4th Avenue are some nice Totem poles for a photo. Further down 4th Avenue is an ice cream stand, conveniently located next to a bar. At least one parent should be able to sneak into the bar for a cold beer while the kids eat their ice cream on the bench, right? Continue down 4th Avenue to the Visitor\'s Center. Perhaps the other parent can have a drink at F Street Station while the kids explore this area. There are a bunch of tourist shops on this street too if you have the need to shop. Head south down E Street to Town Square (if not under renovation). Exit the park at 6th Avenue and cross to the south side of the street. Humpy\'s is a family friendly local restarant/bar that serves good food and drinks. Walk back to 5th Avenue up G Street to the Imaginarium, located in the same building as the Brewhouse Resaraunt. Go West up 5th Avenue and down the hill back to your car.
