Start at the back parking lot (near tennis courts). Run west along chain link fence into Dogwood Campground and then turn right. At approx .9 miles you will see Dogwood Trailhead. Dogwood is absolutely gorgeous but it's a long descent (.7 or so) and then a long ascent back out. Turn right on road and then follow signs to exit. #2 is guard gate for park... continue downhill to Stop Sign (blue jay cutoff). Return back to guard gate and then stay right looping back around to the high school... this run feels longer than it is!! - a 3.6 mi running route in Lake Arrowhead, California
