Green Drakkoman Duathlon
My son asked me to run a marathon for him. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2006 at the age of 6. He left this island earth in October 2009. The tumor was discovered at Northest Health's Samaritin Hospital in Troy. He was treated at Albany Medical Center. This route takes us past many things that were important to him. My intent is to run from the start line to AMC and then switch to a bike and ride the route past Ellis Hospital and the to Guptill's Coney Express Ice Cream. In parking lot I will switch back to running and finish the route on foot. - a 49.3 mi running route in Latham, New York
