Hello everyone,

I am new to Ada,Michigan, just moved from Minneapolis,Mn I was wondering if there are any indoor walking locations other than joining a Health Club. In Minneapolis there were Community Centers, or schools that let walkers use. Any help would be appreciated.

First time on Forum, so not sure how it works, I am after some advice, last year I completed the 26.2mile Edinburgh moon walk, which I was really pleased about, but I must admit after having a blister free training schedule, I was gutted to end up with a blister by the 7th mile, so you can imagine what it was like by the end.....

Anyway unfortunatelyI think I have scar tissue from said blister on the ball of my foot, which now always starts to hurt after a few miles, today I have walked 10 miles and the ball of my foot is in agony, I can't decide if it's another blister !!

As I have two goals this year, one to do the moon walk again in June 09 and the second is to climb Mont Blanc, so please if anyone has any advice on what I can do to stay blister and pain free I look forward to hearing about it.

Hi, My name is Jenn, I am new to this site. I heard it from a girl I work with. I am not really sure where to start, so ... I am 34 (to be 35 soon) I work at Verizon in Boston, I am married and have 2 boys. I have been smoke free for 7 weeks now. Before I quit smoking I had lost 27lbs, and then when I stoped I noticed how easy the scale kept on going up and up.... It was like everyday I was gaining something. Well now that I know that the not smoking is under control, now its time to work on the weight. A few co-workers and I have decided to get our butts motivated, that we would start this monday and put $2.00 a wk in a pool, and who ever has the most percentage of weight loss they would win the pot... dead line is 01-01-09... SOOOO I figure if I could join this group and maybe a challenge then it would be fun, and it would also keep me on track to get out and walk. Any tips on this Web site would be really awesome.. thanks all.. and it has been great meeting everyone!!! (sorry for ramblin)
