Feature Requests: Choose line colour for route

I mainly walk on tracks and paths which don't show on Google mapping but are clear on satellite or hybrid view. However the dark blue line of the route disappears when I try to print it. The colour used by the new mapping interface is even worse than the old shade of blue.

 How about a (limited) choice of colour to display our routes so we can always see where we're going?
