Goal Trophy

- This is the trophy that will be awarded for conquering this challenge.

5000 miles in a year is about 416 miles a month, or about 14 miles a day average. If you've been cruising through the 300 miles/month goal then try this one, it will pay to get your summer miles up so you can slack a little in winter. I ride 50km to and from work each day, so that means commuting a little over 3 days each week, should be do-able given weather, social and other interventions. Give it a go ;^)

Davie, it's not a bug. Rather it's some algorithm that they use to computer the mileage. Don't know why they just can't use our collective mileage, but they don't. I have questioned them twice about it and received the same answer. My total mileage this year is over 5800, but according to this 'challenge' I have just reached my 'goal'.

Sorry, as far as I know the answer os no. The maximum time period available seems to be 180 days which is why I had to put in a calendar start date rather than a period - its probably an easy fix for the site admin so one of us could ask them to add a 365 day option. Maybe I can change the challenge if they allow this period.

Can you edit the dates of this challenge so it is not for a fixed time period? I signed up today and found out I only have 151 days left in which to make the 5,000 mark.

This is my overall goal for the year! Its getting harder now that winter has kicked in (0 degrees C overnight and 120kph winds made biking home tonight a challenge) but I'll get there!
