Courses

Courses are portions of a route. Some were created by our digital braintrust, others were developed by our community of users. If you track your activity with our app or a GPS device, you will automatically get credit for any course that overlaps a portion of your workout. Your performance on courses can earn you personal achievements and a spot on the public leaderboards. Here's how to get started:

1. Create a Course

Setting up a new course is easy. From any map detail, click "Create a Course" at the top of the page. Use the sliders to select a portion of your route. Then name it, save it and start tracking.

2. See How You Stack Up

Once a course is created, it acts like a virtual race. You can compete against other users for a spot on the public course leaderboard. You can also compare your effort to previous performances, pushing yourself to get stronger with every workout. All you need to do is complete the course, we'll calculate the points and keep you motivated.

3. Earn Achievements

Nothing beats the satisfaction of rocking your workout, but winning awards can make it even more fun. Aim for personal records or compete for monthly achievements. And remember, it isn't just about speed, dedication is factored into monthly scores too. So get out, get it done, earn some bragging rights.
