Description of this Walk

London Green Belt Way - Stage 19. 9.65 miles. Boxhill Information Centre to West Hanger Picnic Area above Shere on the North Downs. Goes steeply off Boxhill for a mile to the Burford Bridge Hotel. Crosses A24 using underpass to West Humble then through village leaving road at West Humble chapel ruin and climbing up to join the North Downs Way above Denbies Vineyard. Follows North Downs Way through Ranmore Common, White Downs, Blachford Down and Hackhurst Down to finish at car park picnic area at West Hanger. This is a tough hilly route with some great scenery and history.
