Description of this Walk

London Green Belt Way - Stage 7. 11.95 miles. St Albans to Letty Green. Starts on east side of Holywell Hill on towpath of River Ver and next to bridge. Follows River Ver path for 0.6 miles then climbs up steps to join the Alban Way east through Hatfield. Then via Mill Green, Commons Wood Nature Reserve and along Cole Green Way to finish at the old Cole Green Railway Station at Letty Green. The route is mainly flat and mostly along disused railway tracks which are now footpaths / cycle tracks. Some great points of interest along the way.
