At Hampton Court Bridge turn left over bridge on pavement and in front of entrance to Palace cross over using pelican crossing. Then tuen right towards bridge and just before bridge, turn left onto Barge Walk and follow to KIngston Bridge. On approaching Kingston Bridge follow road uphill and slightly away from river. At top, turn right on pavement to cross bridge over river. Over bridge, continue for a short distance. On reaching shops, turn sharp right (almost double back) to go down slant to river. At river turn right under bridge, then straight on for 100m. As footpath comes to river, turn right then left along road, keeping river on LHS.
