Description of this Run

Start at Mile Marker 1 , just a bit west of Riverside Park. Head North toward Old Town on the trail, turn around at marker 8, just past the Bellehaven Rest Area, turn around and come back. Can be made into 16 miles by running to King St and turning around or adding the mile to and then from Mt. Vernon. \n\nThe Mt Vernon Trail runs all the way north to Roosevelt Island and Roslyn where you can link up to a variety of other trails also.
