Description of this Walk

This route was designed for our girls to pass off a summer camp certification hike. It tracks through the Texas State Campus, follows the San Marcos River in some areas as well as follows some park walking trails. The stopping point is a covered picnic table area at Rio Vista Park. This will usually be reserved by a large group so I marked it as a landmark. If you want to use this spot for an event, you would need to contact San Marcos Parks and Rec in advance and there is a charge associated.
