Description of this Run

The Market To Market RelayÃ¢ï¿½Â¢ is an 86-mile distance running relay event. Each team, comprised of 6 to 8 runners, take on scenic and challenging course that takes you from the riverfront skyline of Omaha through the country, passing small towns, rural farms, state parks, large rivers, small streams, bluffs, and plains and ends at the stateÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½s capital city, Lincoln. The layout of the course allows each runner on a team to run 3 to 4 legs of the race running 2.45 miles to 5.50 miles each leg. This day long event starts in the historic Old Market in downtown Omaha taking teams from exchange point to exchange point. Each exchange point is a unique and entertaining pit stop highlighting some of NebraskaÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½s finest businesses, non-profits, and artists. The event ends in the historic Haymarket in downtown Lincoln with a huge party and expo.
