New Braunfels / Canyon Lake / Greune Hall Loop
Challenging and scenic ride featuring several Guadalupe River crossings. Hueco Springs and River Road are narrow roads. During Summer, only do this route EARLY in the morning, as traffic becomes a problem. Fall or Winter, any time of day is OK.
The ride up Canyon Lake Dam is a "turnaround" spot...just ride up it, see the view, turn back around and exit the park the way you entered.
After you get back on 306 and start heading south, you hit a MONSTER climb. Decent enough shoulder for almost all of 306, although it is a bit rough.
