Ymca to Rails to Trail and back
When you leave the Y you will probably have to run more often than not on the grass (high grass) due to the volume of traffic on Johnny Mercer Blvd.
Once you hit the Bryant (something rd) you'll run on the grass half the time and the other on the road.
When you get to hwy 80 you should be able to run on the shoulder until you reach what I call the long bridge (Bull River). There's a safe path on the bridge along the rail.
Soon, after getting off the bridge you will be back on the shoulder and in no time you will reach the rails to trail (this is your turn-around point). - a 8.9 mi running route in Savannah, Georgia
