Mixing Art with Fitness at Sculptures By The Sea

When I set out on my maiden GPS run from Coogee to Bondi following gym, I did not expect to find the run through the Sculptures By The Sea to turn into a gridlocked experience amongst the admirers of the sculptures. Yes, this was stupid of me. As was not wearing sunscreen or a hat. But this setback in preparation skills (which had been blotted out just with thoughts of needing a run after poor health), was more than countered by the beauty of the Sculptures, the admiring people and the gentle coastal breeze. It was indeed a beautiful way to take the mind off the pain of running up and down and around the undulating cliffs ... while dodging well clear of the art fans
