My name is Mycle Brandy. My email address is:mlbrandy4x4@hotmail.com. On February 14th, 2010, I will be leaving from a beach in Southern California (Beach TBD)�to walk to New York City. I estimate and hope to arrive in New York on the 10th of October, 2010. I will be walking for the American Heart Assc's new fundraising vehicle "Start! Training". After I arrive in New York I will fly to Greece and walk the Athens Classic Marathon on October 31, 2010. I am a stroke survivor. I have had 4 strokes and the medication given me for the strokes damaged my liver irreparably. I have participated in 8 full Marathons, including Boston,�and 4 Half Marathons. I am currently looking for sponsors to help me across America and on to Greece. I tried to map out a route through your "Map My Run" site and was able to tentatively do that but I was hoping Map My run might be able to help me with a little more exactitude.�I have to use a cane when I walk and I would like to avoid mountains as much as possible. I was hoping you might run my story and map me out a non-freeway course from San Clemente, Ca to New york City. Once I have a route I will be able to schedule local hospital and school visits along the way. I hope you'll find my story interesting and, of course, I'm looking for sponsors for my trip.
