Walk Description
Great shade trees all along Ponderosa road. Moderately long incline between miles 2 & 3(feel the burn but WOW the ocean view and the feel of its breeze are terrific!). Then down the hill & just in time for a quick, refreshing break @ Crestview Park. Plenty of shade trees, cool water fountains, and clean restrooms! Then with body rehydrated and spirts renewed, we are ready and able to power it out eastward along Las Posas(where shade is pretty sparse)to the finish line; feeling energized and ready to tackle another day...WALKON!
