Walk Description
As part of hard sweet hard - a series of investigational walks in the woods, the city, and the surrounding environment of Greater New Orleans on 14-15 February the artist makes a solo performative distance walk from New Orleans to Hopedale as a kinetic valentine to the residents and landscape of the area. The artist\\'s 38-mile walking route highlights the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet (MRGO) and brings attention to its de-authorization and closure. Simultaneously, her walk creates a second line as she returns to the path of Hurricane Katrina.
